Mortada Mansour insists on not renewing the contracts of Tariq, Abu Jabal and Bin Sharqi

Mortada Mansour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Football Club, Zamalek, apologized to the fans for the low level of the team, and some players attacked them during the last match against Moroccan Wydad in the fourth round of the group stage competitions in the African Champions League, which ended with the loss of Zamalek with a clean goal.

Mansour said in a press conference held today, Sunday: "I apologize to the fans of Zamalek, and no one will escape punishment."

He added: "We will not go back on our decisions, and we will not renew the contracts of Tariq Hamed, Ashraf bin Sharqi, Onajem or Muhammad Abu Jabal, which expire at the end of the current season. They have all thanks and appreciation, but the matter is over. This decision was taken before the last match against Wydad."

He explained that Ismail Youssef, the former star of the White Castle, will be with the team during the coming period.

He stressed that Amir Mortada, the football supervisor, was the one who suggested using Ismail Youssef to manage the ball during the coming period, especially since Amir has many files such as issues of the International Football Association (FIFA) and new deals, and a full-time person like Ismail Youssef must be present with him. .

He said that the coming period will witness a financial recovery, and new players will be contracted to strengthen the team's ranks before the start of the next season.
