Team Viljo Petersson-Dahl started Thursday's game brilliantly and secured the playoff spot via a 10-7 victory against the USA in today's first match.

In the final match, they faced a South Korea that had nothing to play for and they also looked to be heading for a victory after stealing three points in the fifth round and taking the lead 4-3.

Then came the landslide.

Already in the following round, Sweden bid back and more or less donated a full five points after a couple of bad stones.

Skipper Viljo Petersson-Dahl tried to save the misery with the last stone but did not succeed.

South Korea then definitely put the nail in the coffin by stealing two points in the penultimate round.

The loss meant that Sweden was overtaken by China in the table and now they are up against group three Canada in tomorrow's semifinal.
