German Alexander Zverev ended up in a blizzard a few weeks ago when, in a double match on the ATP Tour in Acapulco, Mexico, he scolded the referee during the current match.

- See where the ball lands!

Damn idiot, you hear in clips from the match.

After the match, the German hit the referee's feet with the racket while he continued to scold him.

He was subsequently expelled from the tournament and earlier this week came the verdict announcing that he will now be under surveillance for a year.

Zverev risks being suspended for eight weeks in the event of a new trampling.

In an interview before the verdict was announced, former world setter Serena Williams was asked about the incident by CNN.

There, the American was asked if she thought the treatment would have been different for her if she had done the same thing as Zverev.

- There is an absolute double standard.

I would probably end up in jail if I did.

Literally, I'm not kidding.

When you see other things happening on the tour, you think, "What would have happened if I had done that?" She tells CNN.

Williams himself has been punished with surveillance.

This after she scolded a line judge in the semifinals of the US Open 2009 against Kim Clijsters.
