Portugal's Neto renews his contract with Wolverhampton until 2027

Portuguese winger Pedro Neto, who celebrated his twenty-second birthday today, renewed his contract with his club Wolverhampton until 2027. Neto joined Wolves from Lazio in 2019, and scored 10 goals in 83 matches in various competitions.

Last April, he injured his knee and was out of action until last month.

"It (the renewal) is a bonus for him," Wolverhampton technical director Scott Cellars told the club's official website.

"He's committed to giving his best and that was shown by his quick comeback from rock bottom, but we believe he can still do more."

Neto was chosen as the player of the year for the 2020-2021 season in the ranks of "Wolves" before he was injured.
