26-year-old long jumper Thobias Montler stood for a sharp jump in Belgrade on Monday night.

After two tramples, he hit with 8.23 ​​- season best - which was enough for a second place behind the Greek winner Militatis Tentoglou (8.25).

Montler followed up his 8.23 ​​jump with two overtramps and finished with 8.22.

There are two promising jumps ahead of the Indoor World Cup in Belgrade, which starts on March 18.

Montler's previous year best was 8.21.
