The KIA Tigers, a professional baseball team, have taken an emergency due to the number of people who test positive for COVID-19 in their squad.



The KIA club today (6th) said, "After yesterday's practice game, one coach and one on-site staff tested positive for the self-diagnosis kit. It was confirmed positive."



The KIA, which suffered measles once on the 1st of the day when one coach was confirmed to have Corona 19 as a result of a gene amplification (PCR) test.



A KIA official said, "All coaches, players, and staff who have been confirmed positive with the self-diagnosis kit are scheduled to undergo a PCR test today.



If there are no additional confirmed cases after returning to Gwangju, KIA will play a practice match against the Hanwha Eagles on the 8th and 9th, and then play a demonstration match against the NC Dinos in Changwon on the 12th.
