  Guo Yujie from Zhangjiakou was the flag bearer for the opening ceremony of the Chinese delegation to the Beijing Winter Paralympics.

She admitted that she felt some pressure because of the attention she received, but under the pressure, she did not live up to her expectations.

  "My stamina is not good, and every time I go uphill, I slide up with one breath." Guo Yujie said with a smile about winning the championship, "I thought I was sliding very slowly, but I didn't expect it to be OK."

  "The coaches are working very hard. We have so many players in biathlon, and they have to stand on the sidelines all the time. When we train, they also have to accompany us all the time. Before the competition, they got up earlier than us." Guo Yujie said, I am very grateful for their contributions, and I would also like to thank the China Disabled Persons' Federation and all levels of disabled people's federations for their support.

  Facing the next Winter Paralympics schedule, Guo Yujie said that she will continue to work hard to play the "gun" in biathlon.

  On the same day, Guo Yujie won the gold medal and Zhao Zhiqing won the bronze medal in the women's biathlon 6km (stance group) competition at the Beijing Winter Paralympics.
