The 27th day of Ligue 2 was an opportunity for the VAFC to face Bastia, at Armand-Cesari.

This confrontation was close and ended in a draw, with the score 1 to 1. Brouard and Delmotte followed the same tactical pattern by placing their players in 3-4-2-1 to start the match.

In the 11th, Bonnet scored an own goal, allowing VAFC to score.

Finally, the last goal of the game was scored by Abeid in the 20th.

No other goals were scored in the second half.

The game was punctuated with many warnings.

The referee released a card for Sainati, then for Guidi, Chevalier, Abeid, Magri, Robic and Bonnet.

Despite the draw, Bastia rose in the standings and therefore finished this 27th day in 15th place.

The point won by the VAFC still allows it to move up the rankings.

The club is now in 14th place, ahead of Bastia.

For its next match, Bastia will face AC Ajaccio at the François-Coty stadium on March 12 at 3 p.m. for the next day.

For their part, the VAFC will meet Dijon the same day at 7 p.m., at the Stade du Hainaut.
