In soccer J1, one match of Section 3 was played, and in the match between Kyoto Sanga and Jubilo Iwata, both of whom were promoted from J2, Jubilo won 4-1 and won the first victory of the season.
Jubilo took the lead with a goal from Yuki Otsu in the first half, and Yuto Suzuki scored two goals in the second half.
Sanga is the first black star of the season.
