The World Curling Federation has decided to exclude the Russian Curling Federation from all World Championships that will be held under the newly adopted rules.

On the 4th, the World Curling Federation has a new rule that allows teams and affiliated associations to be excluded from the competition if it is determined that the participation in the competition will endanger participants or the competition. In response, the federation's board of directors has decided to exclude the Russian Curling Federation from all world championships to be held, including the women's world championships starting on the 19th of this month.



On the other hand, if the new rules are to be applied next season, they will need to be approved again by the affiliated associations.
