Yesterday, Sweden's biathlon ladies finished second in the season's last relay.

After France was dished out, the ladies also took home the victory in the relay cup for the second year in a row.

Today it's the men's turn - who during this season has the best two fifth places in the relay, one of which came in the Olympics.

On Saturday, the sprint and on Sunday the hunt will start - and Sebastian Samuelsson is looking forward to the competitions.

- I lead the sprint cup, then I think I am fighting for a podium place in the total.

It would have been very big for me if I took a podium place and that is what I am fighting for now.

It's fun to be back so it feels very inspiring, he says to SVT Sport.

"They tried to keep the flame up"

How disappointed were you during the Olympic journey?

- After the last training at the Olympics, like everything, caught up.

They have been fighting for a very long time and during the championship I got off to a bad start.

They tried to keep the flame up and believe in it all the way.

Before the Olympics, of course, my goal was to win a medal, maybe not just a medal either.

And when I do not succeed with that, I am disappointed, says Samuelsson.

How does the body feel?

- It feels good.

In Beijing, I struggled at the height, but I think I have prepared well for the past year.

I may need several years of proper training at high altitude.

But I'm not that old either, so it's sure to come with time.

I will find my way back to the shape I had before and I think it will go better now, he says.

Peppe Femling, Jesper Nelin, Martin Ponsiluoma and Sebastian Samuelsson, are the Swedish team in Friday's relay.

Follow the men's relay from Kontiolahti, at 14.25 on SVT1 / Play.
