In SVT Sports' review of rhythmic gymnastics, several former elite gymnasts testify that they have been exposed to threats and violations, and have had their bodies stretched in an approach that is contrary to the gymnastics association's policy.

Malin Träff, responsible for children's and youth sports at the Swedish Sports Confederation, has seen and read SVT Sports' publications.

- Above all, I am touched by Clara's (Göthberg) story.

It is very important that we take it to heart and welcome if more people want to tell.

When voices are raised, it helps us to change what needs to change, says Malin Träff.

How can this still be a problem?

- We have come a long way when we break cultures where we have not talked before.

It is a sign that we are loosening a norm where results and performance have been more important than children and young people's health and well-being.

We're a long way off, but we have a lot left.

What can you do about leaders who misbehave?

- What we must do is put the health of children and young people first.

Being a leader is a trust that we must be prepared to take back.

Next week, the tenth of March, RF will release a document to the sports federation on guidelines for children and youth sports.

For the first time since 2014.

- The guidelines are a way of describing how we make our values and children's rights in practice in sports.

They are also a way to guide the sports movement towards our common goals of retaining and getting new and more children and young people into sports and to create really good development environments.

- In the long run, it also provides sporting success.

The biggest difference from 2014 when we produced the document for the first time is that in the new guidelines we are much more specific in matters concerning security, inclusion and participation.
