They are back.
Matthieu Jalibert and Gabin Villière are called up to the group that will prepare for the trip to Wales for the fourth match of the XV of France in the VI Nations tournament, the French Rugby Federation announced on Thursday.
Jalibert, hampered by his right thigh, had missed the start of the 2022 Tournament. Villière had played the first two games, scoring a hat-trick against Italy before suffering a facial injury against Ireland.
He had not been traveling to Scotland.
Newbies galore
Several zero-selection neophytes were also called up: third lines Paul Boudehent (La Rochelle, 22) and Jordan Joseph (Pau, 21), second lines Thomas Jolmes (Bordeaux-Bègles, 26) and Thomas Lavault (La Rochelle, 22), pillar Jérôme Rey (Lyon, 26), winger Donovan Taofifenua (Racing 92, 22) or three-quarter Jules Favre (La Rochelle, 22).
