This kind of fire will be gathered in the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest in Tiantan Park together with 8 other fires to form the official fire of the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympic Games.
Tai Lihua, head of the China Disabled People's Art Troupe, used a traditional concave mirror to attract sunlight to ignite the "Xia'ao Fire" as a fire collector.
Tai Lihua said that collecting fire seeds was more nervous than performing on stage. She had practiced many times before, and this time the official fire gathering was relatively smooth.
She said that the collection of "Fire of Summer Olympics" represents the spirit of the Olympics, including the expectation and love of the disabled for sports, and also hopes to bring peace and friendship to all parts of the world.
