Olympic champion Jonna Sundling comfortably made it to the sprint final in Drammen and once there she went out rock hard.
Only Maiken Caspersen Falla and Anamarija Lampic could follow.
In the race, Norwegian Falla, who has not had a successful season, showed that she has improved her form at home.
She sprinted past Sundling and took her 16th World Cup victory.
