Hansjorg Wyss, one of Switzerland's wealthiest men, said on Wednesday he had been offered to buy Chelsea, as Premier League club owner Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich went into withdrawal after the invasion of Ukraine.
“I still leave myself four or five days of reflection.
Abramovich is asking too much right now.
Chelsea owe him £2 billion, except Chelsea have no money.
This means those who buy Chelsea have to compensate Abramovich,” he explained.
“Abramovich is asking too much right now”
"Abramovich is among Putin's closest advisers and friends," Wyss told Blick.
“Like all the other oligarchs, he is panicked.
He wants to get rid of Chelsea quickly.
Along with three other people, I received an offer on Tuesday to buy Chelsea from Abramovich.

Wyss, 86 and founder of medical device manufacturer Synthes, told Swiss newspaper Blick he was probed on Tuesday, along with three other people, without knowing the price Abramovich was asking for, set at 4 billion euros according to the English press.
The announcement comes after Abramovich said on Saturday that he planned to hand over his shares in the club to the trustees of the Chelsea Foundation.
The Swiss finally affirmed that he would not operate “alone”.
“If I buy Chelsea, it will be with a consortium of six to seven investors”.
For the moment, Abramovich is not on the growing list of individuals or companies targeted by British sanctions for their links with the regime of Vladimir Putin.
