Abramovich decides to sell Chelsea and donate money to victims of the "Ukraine War"

Russian businessman Roman Abramovich said today that he has decided to sell English football club Chelsea and pledged to donate the money from the sale to help victims of the war in Ukraine.

"I have always made decisions in the interest of the club, and in the current situation, I have made the decision to sell the club, as I believe this is in the best interests of the club, the fans and the staff as well as the club's sponsors and partners," Abramovich said in a statement.

Abramovich stressed that he directed the club's management to establish a charitable foundation, to which the net money from the sale of the club will be directed, and that those funds will be allocated to support all victims of the war in Ukraine.

He confirmed that he intends to visit Stanford Bridge, the headquarters of Chelsea FC, in order to salute the last farewell to all the club's fans and team members, after a distinguished career in which the club won many titles. ".
