On the afternoon of March 2, the starting ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympic Games was held in the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest.
The 8 fire seeds collected in the three competition areas of Beijing, Yanqing, and Zhangjiakou, together with the fire seeds collected in Mandeville, UK, are combined to form the official fire of the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympic Games.
After the fire gathering ceremony, the torch relay will continue in the Temple of Heaven Park with the theme of "Fire in the Nine Heavens".
