is the night line invitation time to meet the proud Korean national team who participated in the Beijing Winter Olympics.

Today (3rd), we invited Kim Min-seok, the national speed skating player, who gave the news of the first medal to Korea and made the people cool.

Q. The Olympic Games scene…

How about seeing it again?

[Kim Min-seok / National Speed Skating Player: It's a new feeling again.

It hasn't been that long, but it seems like a very long time ago, and when I see it, I'm glad that the memories came back.]

Q. 'First Medal' and 2nd consecutive defeat...

How did you feel at the time?

[Kim Min-seok / National Speed Skating Player: A lot of people congratulated me, and I was very happy to get the bronze medal, but I also felt a little sad.

My inner goal was to write the record of being the first to win a 1,500m bronze medal at the Pyeongchang Olympics 4 years ago.

So, I thought about the results of a bronze medal or higher and even the position of the biggest Olympic champion, and I prepared and set my goal, but I couldn’t achieve that goal because the other player was doing so well, but I am still satisfied with that level of disappointment by making a promise at the next Olympics. Yes.]

Q. 'Speed' as a European power...

Are there no limits to your physical condition?

[Kim Min-seok / National speed skating player: Even now, the first athlete, the Olympic champion, is 188 tall, and the second athlete has a physique of 192 cm. When I think about it, I think that if I was that big, I would ride much better.

Even if you are short, you have to accept the given physical condition and overcome it through training.

Just because you feel the limit, there is nothing you need to sit there, so I think that is something that needs to be overcome through training.]

Q. The heavy atmosphere of 'judgment controversy'...

Wasn't there any pressure?

[Kim Min-seok / National Speed Skating Player: I think there was an unfortunate incident, so as a short track fan, I was very angry and motivated.

I think I changed the burden to a little fun, thinking that if I showed a good performance in speed skating, which is a clean event, it would give a lot of motivation to the athletes in other short track, snow, or figure skating events. ]

Q. A Chinese player 'consoling'...

Has it been a hot topic?

[Kim Min-seok / National Speed Skating Player: Actually, since 2019, we have had a very deep bond and were close friends.

As Ning Zhongyan showed a bit of a slump at the Beijing Olympics, which is home to China, I think that was more disappointing for him.

So it seems that I instinctively went and comforted me a little.

(Anchor: This is the spirit of the Olympics. I didn't know it would be so popular and praised so much, right?) I never imagined it.]

Q. What is the appeal of speed skating?

[Kim Min-seok/Speed Skating National Team Player: As in this controversy, I think there are a lot of things that are a bit unfair in events that involve the discretion of the referee.

The sport I know of speed skating can be seen as a fair and clean match that does not include that part at all.

It's completely purely because of the player's skills and the physical limitations of himself, so that's why that part is attractive.]

Q. Have you ever had any regrets because of your physical limitations?

[Kim Min-seok / National Speed Skating Player: When I came to a point where I thought I was going to die, why am I doing this? I wondered how it would have been a little more comfortable if I had done other sports. while overcoming it.

Now, the rival

player will have a harder time than this, and he will work harder than this.

[Kim Min-seok / National Speed Skating Player: After the Olympics, I received congratulations from many people, but I think my parents were the ones who were the most happy.

I really want to say thank you to my parents who have always supported me, loved me, and raised me.

(Anchor: Are you going to continue speed skating in the future?) What you think about is at least 10 or 15 years.]

Q. What kind of player do you want to remain in the future?

[Kim Min-seok / National speed skating player: I want to show him as a player who does not lose his original intention and always tries to improve.]
