The Nigerian striker Samuel Adegbenro was a great success in IFK Norrköping.

He scored 17 goals last season and won the shooting league in the Allsvenskan.

During the autumn and winter, the 26-year-old has been rumored to be away from Sweden.

Now the move is a fact.

"Very good net"

IFK Norrköping announces on its website that they have sold Adegbenro to a Chinese club.

Which club it is is not specified.

- We have received an offer that we can accept after negotiations between the parties involved and where we have ensured a very good net to the club.

This will be the best solution for all parties where Samuel has expressed a strong desire to leave, while IFK has placed high demands on the conditions for agreeing to it, says chairman Sakarias Mårdh.

Norrköping bought Adegbenro from Norwegian Rosenborg before last season.

- That Samuel would leave the club for the right net this winter is something we have been aware of for a long time.

Provided that we do not suffer damage to our offensive positions, we have established players who make us strong, and also promising players who need playing time to develop, says Patrik Jönsson in Norrköping's sports group.
