A Sudanese player promotes the new "Adidas" campaign

The Sudanese "Bawaba" website revealed that the German company Adidas, which specializes in selling sports equipment and clothing, chose the British player of Sudanese origin, Asma Al-Badawi, as part of its campaign to celebrate women through the slogan "Nothing is Impossible!".

“Through its new campaign, adidas seeks to create a strong and diverse community of game-changing players,” said Vicki Frye, head of global marketing at adidas.

Adidas stated that it chose to celebrate influential women in sports, fashion and culture, including Asma El-Badawy.

In 2014, Asma Al-Badawi succeeded in repealing the ban imposed by the International Basketball Federation on female professional basketball players not to wear the hijab.
