Västerås has linked an iron grip on the quarter-final series against Sandviken.
Table four VSK started at home last Saturday and then won by a full 8-3.
Today it was smoother up in Sandviken.
The home team took the lead already after 20 minutes of play through Hannes Edlund before Martin Landström equalized just before the break, played by Tobias Holmberg.
Holmberg was also involved in the lead goal that came through Viktor Spångberg with eleven minutes left of regular playing time.
Then it was Holmberg himself who put the nail in the coffin a few minutes from the end.
Sandviken reduced the stoppage time, but never caught up.
The next quarter-final meeting, best of five, will be played on Tuesday in Västerås and then VSK can be ready for the semi-finals.
