Recently, with the approval of the State Council of China, Deputy Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China , Governor Wang Hao will serve as the chairman of the 19th Asian Games Organizing Committee and the 4th Asian Paralympic Games Organizing Committee in 2022.
The Hangzhou Asian Games will be held from September 10th to 25th this year. There will be 40 major competitions, 61 sub-items, and 482 sub-items. At that time, 45 Asian countries (regions) and some Oceania countries (regions) will come to Hangzhou. It is estimated that 10,000 athletes, 4,900 technical officials and nearly 6,000 media reporters will participate in the competition.
The Hangzhou Asian Paralympic Games is scheduled to be held from October 9th to 15th this year. There will be 22 major competitions and 604 preset events. It is estimated that there will be 5,300 athletes and team officials and 3,000 technical officials.
