Örebro had big problems creating something of value in the home meeting with Frölunda, but they had the margins with them and sometimes that is all that is required.
After a lousy first period with only two shots on Frölunda's goal, they rose a little in the second and it would prove to be enough.
First Linus Öberg equalized to 1-1 after a tangled situation in powerplay and a short while later Jani Lajunen put 2-1 a little lucky.
Frölunda got up and equalized in the middle of the third period but the air went out of them when Robert Leino put 3-2 a while later.
With one and a half minutes left to play, Emil Larsson then made it 4-2 in the open box and then it did not matter that Frölunda's points king Ryan Lasch found the goal with 18 seconds left to play.
- I think we turn this around to our advantage after a bad first period.
Nice victory, strong to win, says Emil Larsson to Cmore after the match.
Frölunda's coach Roger Rönnberg:
- Damn sour, this is how we lost matches earlier in the season and we need to do better.
