This season, Dinamo Riga is one of five teams in the Eastern European league KHL that do not play their home matches on Russian soil.
Earlier this week, the Finnish club Jokerit announced that they are withdrawing from the play-offs and now Dinamo Riga goes a step further as they leave the KHL altogether.
