Kläbo has won every freestyle sprint in the World Cup since Lahti's 2018, that is, almost exactly four years ago.

In today's competition in Lahti in particular, that suite was extremely close to being broken when Kläbo made a failed last curve.

On the finish line, he still managed to pass Chanavat and win by four hundredths.

Thus, he took his 30th sprint victory in the World Cup.

Third came Kläbo's compatriot Sindre Björnstad Skar.

Also in the final was the Chinese Qiang Wang who reached the final for the first time, but then he fell and was last.

No Swede further from the quarter

Calle Halfvarsson and Karl-Johan Westerberg disappeared directly in the sprint qualifiers in the World Cup in Lahti on Saturday.

But four Swedes managed to advance to the quarterfinals: Anton Persson, Marcus Grate, Johan Häggström and Gustav Eriksson.

Once in the quarter, it stopped for the four Swedes, where no one managed to get to the semifinals.

It is noteworthy that the Russian star Alexander Bolshunov disappeared already in the quarterfinals.
