Jonna Sundling took over where she left off at the Olympics in Beijing.

In the first World Cup competition after the championship, the Swede was superior to the Finnish Lahti.

She was completely unthreatened all day.

The Swede won the qualifiers, the quarterfinals, the semis and the final.

In the final, which also included Emma Ribom and Maja Dahlqvist, the competitors were stern sailed.

Sundling won by a full four seconds to Ribom who finished second, her best result in the World Cup ever.

- I feel fantastic right now and I am in a good place in my career.

I trusted my skiing today and it went my way.

I'm so happy that Emma took second place, I think it's her first, so I'm happy for her sake, says Sundling in the victory speech.

Maja Dahlqvist finished third and thus completed the Swedish triple podium.

The last time a Swedish sprinter won in Lahti was 17 years ago, when Lina Andersson won.
