Sandra Näslund won the Olympic final in skicross by far.

Behind Näslund it was close and the jury examined whether there had been any breaches of the rules in the heat over silver and bronze.

Fanny Smith who was third in goal was moved down to fourth place while Daniela Maier got an unexpected bronze after being fourth in goal.

The star was resigned and had a hard time accepting the decision.

- It is definitely the most difficult day in my career.

I can not accept the jury's decision.

I'm devastated, she said after the decision.

"Is relieved"

The Swiss federation appealed the jury's decision and now the International Ski Federation Fis announces that they have approved the appeal.

This means that Smith now gets his bronze medal and that the German Daniela Maier gets rid of her.

When the decision reached the Swiss star, she was relieved.

- It is clear that I am relieved by this decision.

Because I was always convinced that I had not made a mistake.

At the same time, I suffer with Daniela Maier, she says to the Swiss Ski Association's website.
