The Chinese delegation created its best result in a single Winter Olympics.

And when the Beijing Winter Olympics ends, how will the ice and snow boom in Shenzhou continue?

As a professional scholar who has been engaged in Olympic-related research for many years, Qiu Zhaoyi, who has served as the referee of the World Cup and World Championships in ice and snow events, has unique insights on this.

In his view, in a sense, the Beijing Winter Olympics means the beginning of

"

the first year of ice and snow in China".

The Winter Olympics sowed the seeds of ice and snow in China, and it will grow deep and leafy on the land of China.

China-Singapore Sports: You have specialized in sports-related majors both at home and abroad. How do they help you in the accumulation of professional knowledge of sports and the development of your academic context?

From the scientific research management of the Competition Training Office to the work of the Sports Equipment and Equipment Center of the General Administration of Sports of the People's Republic of China, has the transfer of positions affected the direction of academic research?

Qiu Zhaoyi: Sports include not only competitive sports for gold and silver, but also mass sports, youth sports, and the sports industry.

After studying and further education, they can have a deeper understanding of sports and master the overall development direction of sports at home and abroad.

My academic research focuses on sports culture and sports history.

The mountains and rivers are in different places, the wind and the moon are the same day, and the two posts are separated by mountains.

The degree of specialization in the sports industry is getting higher and higher. In the scientific research management of the Competition Training Office and the front-line work of the Sports Equipment and Equipment Center of the General Administration of Sports of the People's Republic of China, I can look at things at different levels and have a deeper understanding of sports, which is also conducive to further academic development. .

China-Singapore Sports: In addition to being a scholar, you are also an international A-level referee of FIS freestyle skiing.

In your opinion, does what you experience in one identity have implications for the work of another identity?

What did you feel the most about your trips to referees around the world?

Qiu Zhaoyi: In fact, there are not many obstacles between the two identities, and they are all based on sports.

Sports can promote the all-round development of people. On the platform of international scoring and referees, better communication with international officials is a complementary process with engaging in academics.

The difference in the atmosphere of ice and snow in different places is the most touching aspect.

Chinese and Western sports culture is very different, especially in winter sports.

A few years ago, I would envy other people's ice and snow atmosphere.

When I went out to referee for the first time, after arriving in the Czech Republic, the game was played in the mountains, but all over the mountains, men, women and children gathered to watch the game.

Snow and ice are gifts of nature, and young people enjoy happiness in it.

In the 2008 World Cup in Moscow, scaffolding was set up on the square for the freestyle skiing aerial skills competition. At that time, more than 100,000 young people came to watch the competition.

Indeed, I can constantly feel the love of foreign youth groups for sports and ice and snow.

We have also had a lot of gratification in recent years. By hosting the Winter Olympics, we have narrowed the gap with foreign countries.

China-Singapore Sports: You are the lecturer of the propaganda group of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, dedicated to promoting ice and snow sports.

From a professional perspective, how can the ice and snow culture be integrated with the history of the Winter Olympics in the process of preaching?

Will "interesting content" be incorporated to improve communication efficiency?

Qiu Zhaoyi: When we treat anything, we never understand the process of being interested and loving.

Taking advantage of the East Wind of the Winter Olympics, it is very necessary to integrate culture into the intellectual context of historical development in the preaching.

Taking history as a mirror, we can know the laws of historical development, get inspiration from it, and understand the development process of the Winter Olympics.

Afterwards, it discusses the social development process of western developed countries and closely integrates the ice and snow culture with the history of the Winter Olympics.

When it comes to promoting sports and a healthy lifestyle, fun should really be at the forefront.

Only when you are interested in it will your attitude change.

But the Winter Olympics have already been held in China, and we should have a stronger motivation to participate in ice and snow sports.

North China, such as Beijing, Tianjin, and the eastern coastal areas along the river, can already carry the development of ice and snow sports.

Therefore, we must take the Winter Olympics as an opportunity to let young people participate in it as soon as possible, and make participating in ice and snow sports a habitual way of life.

Interest is very important, but sports are also hard work, which is the value of sports.

China-Singapore Sports: You have participated in a series of reading lectures on the Winter Olympics, sharing ice and snow sports culture with college students, and explaining the knowledge of the Winter Olympics.

During the course of the lecture, what do you think is the current popularity of ice and snow sports among young people?

Qiu Zhaoyi: This is very gratifying and gratifying.

The inspirational power of the Winter Olympics can enable more young people to participate in ice and snow sports.

At the beginning of our bid for the Olympics, we put forward the slogan of "driving 300 million people to participate in ice and snow sports", and now this goal has been achieved.

Ice and snow sports are a very special form of sports, and it plays an important role in both individuals and countries.

China-Singapore Sports: As a doctoral supervisor of Beijing Sports University, how do you stimulate students' enthusiasm for participating in ice and snow sports in daily teaching and communication?

Qiu Zhaoyi: I ask students to engage in a sport for a long time. Only by participating in it can you better understand it and put it into practice.

I often tell them that farming civilization has passed, so don't say "Have you eaten yet" when meeting each other.

In the new way of life, more leisure time is allocated to sports, and it should be greeted with "have you exercised?"

In fact, ice and snow sports are not far away from us, including roller skating and other sports can promote its promotion.

Now on the campus of Beijing Sports University, roller skating students can be seen everywhere.

National team athletes also train through roller skating in the summer.

For students who lack physical education, I recommend that they do 50 squats a day, which will help them stand on the snowboard longer.

China-Singapore Sports: Riding on the east wind of the Beijing Winter Olympics, more and more Chinese teenagers have entered the ice and snow fields.

How do you view this phenomenon?

How can this enthusiasm be better continued after the Beijing Winter Olympics?

Qiu Zhaoyi: Bringing the top ice and snow events to the door to celebrate the New Year with us can stimulate the national spirit of young people.

People will also have higher demands as society progresses.

After the Winter Olympics, people's needs will increase.

The end of the Beijing Winter Olympics does not mean that the ice and snow will melt.

The seeds of ice and snow were sown in China, and the roots and leaves grew in the land of China. The Winter Olympics is not just an end, but the beginning of the

"first year of ice and snow in China"

.

China-Singapore Sports: You once said that "one of the important signs of social civilization and progress is the development of ice and snow sports." In your opinion, what role do teenagers who are the main participants of ice and snow sports play in it?

Qiu Zhaoyi: Sports is an important element in the development of human history.

Modern sports, including the Winter Olympics, are products of modern social life.

Outdoor sports such as skating and skiing can give people a raw, bloody and challenging exercise.

To a certain extent, the development of sports is related to the future and destiny of the country, and there are laws to follow.

Only when there is a strong sports culture can it represent the future of society and the nation.

In particular, ice and snow sports are the most primitive and wild sports. The participation of young people will have a new cultural atmosphere.

China-Singapore Sports: Generally speaking, what specific impact will the success of the Beijing Winter Olympics have on Chinese youth?

Qiu Zhaoyi: Sports needs event leadership.

Previously, Peking University held the "Peking University Ski Cup", and many events including alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, etc., were widely carried out with the holding of the Beijing Winter Olympics.

In fact, it is not necessary to win a gold medal, and after all, only a few people can win a medal, which conveys an active and healthy lifestyle.

The spirit of the Olympics mainly refers to the philosophy of life that balances the development of body, will and spirit.

The success of the Winter Olympics will set an example for society.

Under its leadership, I hope that China will be reborn like the slogan "A strong youth makes a strong country".
