Brazil coach Tite announced today that he will leave his position after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, as the five-times champion is a permanent candidate to enhance his record.
"I don't want to lie, I will stay until the end of the World Cup," Tite, 60, said in an interview with the Brazilian channel "Sportify".
Tite has been supervising the Seleção national team since June 2016, and he hopes to finish his career with world glory, knowing that his country won the 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002 titles.
"I am very focused on my work. I know that football consists of cycles and I was fortunate to be in this position, while he has several high-level professional coaches" to coach Brazil, Tite added.
