Recently, in an ice rink in Changsha, Hunan Province, a special ice hockey game was underway. Both sides were teenagers under the age of 6.
The youth from Heilongjiang who is standing beside the arena and watching every move on the field is the person in charge of the ice rink and the leader of the children's ice hockey team, Shen Enzhi.
The 32-year-old Shen Eun-sik started practicing ice hockey at the age of 7 and entered the national youth team all the way from the city-level team and the provincial-level team.
With the advancement of the "Arctic South Exhibition" in recent years, he saw the potential of southern cities to develop ice and snow sports.
In April 2021, he came to Changsha, determined to let ice sports take root here.
According to Shen Enzhi, a children's ice hockey team called "Black Dragon Knights" has been established at the ice rink. Every week, children are given targeted training on land and on ice, and the team also often competes in competitions.

Our team is divided into three age groups: U6, U8, and U10. If we add them together, we have about 30 people.
About a child's time on the ice should be at least 8 hours a week, at least 8 hours, and more children may pay more, maybe more than 10 hours.
[Commentary] Li Mu'an, who is in the first grade of primary school, has been learning ice hockey for more than a year. He has been watching ice hockey games since he was a child. He thinks that playing ice hockey is a cool sport.
During the Beijing Winter Olympics, Li Mu'an carefully watched every game of the Chinese ice hockey team, hoping that one day he would be able to stand on the field of the Winter Olympics.

[Commentary] Shen Enzhi told reporters that ice hockey is one of the most difficult group sports in the world, and has high requirements for speed, physical fitness, skills, teamwork and rapid analysis.
Learning ice hockey can well cultivate children's perseverance and team awareness, and the children in the team have changed since they learned ice hockey.
Regardless of age, as long as they stand on the ice rink now, they will instantly transform into fast-moving warriors.
In the future, he also hopes to take them on the ice hockey arena with more and more children.
