This weekend, the World Cup for cross-country skiing is back in Lahthis.
Jens Burman was one of the selected Swedes, but he chooses to give up the competition.
"Jens does not feel completely recovered after the Olympics and return home and therefore chooses to stay at home and train at home and look forward to competitions in Norway next week," the Swedish Ski Association writes in a press release.
Burman's best place in the Olympics was a fourth place in the team relay.
On an individual level, it was his eighth place in the 15-kilometer classic.
