Djokovic will lose his world No. 1 spot to Medvedev

Novak Djokovic, beaten in the quarter-finals of the Dubai tournament 6-4, 7-6 (7/4) by the Czech Jiri Vesely (123rd in the world), will lose his place as world No.1 on Monday in favor of the Russian Daniil Medvedev , as expected since the Serb could not defend his chances at the Australian Open in the circumstances that we know.
