Real Madrid fans remembered the extraordinary goal of former defender Roberto Carlos, who scored from an impossible angle that no one expected.

Carlos scored the goal in the match between Real Madrid and Tenerife on February 21, 1998, in the Spanish League.

The Brazilian defender advanced the ball to the far left and it seemed that he would lose it and go out for a goal kick, but he surprised everyone with an elegant shot that smashed into the opponent's goalkeeper, who could not handle the ball.

Carlos said - in previous statements - that he does not get tired of watching this goal, and added, "No one understood how the ball landed in the net, and I also did not understand that, so how do others understand that."

"I never get tired of it," Roberto Carlos once said of his goal against Tenerife in 1998.

"It's actually quite fun because, even now, it's a goal that no one understands. I don't understand it myself, so how is anyone else going to understand it?" pic.twitter.com/p4bfUUyl0g

Carlos - the famous defender with his strong left foot - chose his goal against Tenerife at the expense of his famous goal against France in 1997, and said, "It was a more difficult goal. I scored it from a point close to the corner flag."
