Ferjani Sassi wants to return to Zamalek after losing the Qatari League

Qatari Al Duhail midfielder, Tunisian Ferjani Sassi, is close to returning to his former team Zamalem in the upcoming summer transfers, especially after the loss of his current team Al Duhail to the Qatari League, and the player’s appearance at a modest level and not scoring any goal since his departure from Zamalek, which caused his exclusion. From the list of Tunisia's national team that participated in the last African Nations Cup in Cameroon.

Al Sadd won the Qatari League title, 12 points ahead of Al Duhail, and three rounds before the end of the competition.

Ferjani Sassi did not score any goal with Al-Duhail team in the Qatari league competition, nor any competition that the team participated in, and the last match in which he scored a goal was with Al-Zamalek against Al-Ahly, which ended 1-1.

According to the "football tunisien" website, Ferjani Sassi's stay in Qatar's Al Duhail will not last long.

The Tunisian website indicated that there is an agreement between Sassi and the Al-Duhail club management, to allow the player to leave, at the end of next June.

In its report, the site indicated that the closest destination to Ferjani Sassi is to return to the ranks of Zamalek again, as the Tunisian player is currently waiting for an end to the crisis of his late dues with the White Club.

Ahmed Mortada Mansour, a board member and spokesman for the Zamalek club’s board of directors, had confirmed that the Zamalek administration is able to return Ferjani Sassi again, but the matter depends on the vision of the technical staff, which will determine the extent to which the team needs its services.

Ferjani Sassi left Zamalek in the summer Mercato and joined the ranks of the Qatari team Al Duhail, after he refused to renew his contract with the White Castle.
