The words of Marco Verratti, spoken after the defeat of PSG in Nantes on Saturday (3-1), could cost the precious Parisian midfielder dearly.

The National Council of Ethics (CNE) of the French Federation (FFF) has indeed seized the Disciplinary Committee of the League (LFP) on the words of the Italian, as indicated by

L'Equipe

 on Monday evening.

The date of his appearance before the CNE has not been disclosed.

After the setback of his team at La Beaujoire, the Italian was very upset at the microphone of Canal +.

“It is not possible that we take 10 yellow cards [six in reality], had dropped Verratti after the final whistle, on Canal + We cannot speak with the referee [Mikael Lesage], we cannot do anything make.

He's the only referee in the world who can do a thing like that.

“Sometimes the referees have to take responsibility, because there we got into trouble with the referees,” added the PSG player.

What degree of gravity should be attributed to Verratti's remarks?

According to the FFF's disciplinary scale, the European champion with the Squadra Azzurra risks two games of suspension if his remarks are deemed "excessive" or "inappropriate", three games if they are deemed "hurtful" or "likely to offend a person", and five games if deemed "rude" or "offensive".

Only Verratti was referred to the Disciplinary Committee.

Sporting director Leonardo, also angry after an "uncontrolled" arbitration according to him, was not pinned down by the CNE.
