The Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports announced obtaining the required approvals for the attendance of 60,000 fans for the crucial match of the Egyptian national team against Senegal in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers next March.

Egypt will host the first leg of the decisive round in Cairo Stadium against African champion Senegal on March 25, with the return match to be played 4 days later, and the winner qualifies directly to the World Cup Qatar 2022 finals in November and December.

And the Ministry of Youth and Sports said - on its website - today, Tuesday, "It is scheduled to hold several meetings in the coming days to announce the date of issuing tickets and their prices to fans through the Egyptian Federation for the game."

The ministry's announcement of the fans' attendance came after a meeting of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Ashraf Sobhi, with representatives of security and the authorities responsible for the match.

Egypt performed well in the African Nations Cup, reaching the final before losing on penalties to Senegal on the sixth of February.

It is noteworthy that most of the local matches in Egypt have been held for years without a public presence or the presence of a limited number.
