The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, presented the Qatari national team shirt (Annabi) to Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, and invited him to attend the 2022 World Cup hosted by Qatar.

During his meeting on Monday with the Iranian President in the Qatari capital, Doha, Sheikh Tamim expressed his congratulations to the Iranian team's qualification for the World Cup.

His Highness the Emir of the country presents the Iranian president with the shirt of the Qatar national football team on the occasion of the Iranian team's qualification for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and invites him to attend the matches of the tournament.

The Emir of Qatar invited his Iranian guest to attend the tournament, and welcomed the Iranian fans who will come to support the Iranian team and enjoy the World Cup.

For his part, the Iranian president expressed his country's readiness to cooperate with the State of Qatar in everything that would ensure the establishment of the best World Cup tournament.


It is noteworthy that Iran qualified for the World Cup in Qatar two rounds before the end of the Asian qualifiers, and Iran leads the first group with 22 points from 8 matches, two points ahead of South Korea, which is in second place.
