Al Hilal Saudi Arabia appeals against banning Kno for three matches..what did he do?

Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal, the Asian champion, announced that it had submitted an appeal against the suspension of midfielder Mohamed Kno for three matches after he was sent off against Al-Ahly of Egypt in the FIFA Club World Cup this month.

Al Hilal lost 4-0 to Al-Ahly in the match to determine the third place in Abu Dhabi on February 12, affected by the expulsion of Kno and Matthew Pereira before half an hour from the start.

Al Hilal wrote on his Twitter account that the FIFA Disciplinary Committee had informed the club of suspending Kno for three matches and Pereira for two matches.

He added, "After receiving the letter, the administration filed an appeal against the decision to suspend Kno for a third match."

The two players missed the 5-0 victory over Al Shabab in the Saudi League on Thursday, and neither of them will appear against Al Nasr in the King's Cup on Monday.

Pereira will be able to play against Al Hazm in the league on Saturday, while Kno will wait for the outcome of the appeal.

Pereira received a red card after a violent foul in the middle of the field during a joint ball, while the video assistant referee (VAR) intervened to expel Kanu for attacking an opponent without a ball.
