The Beijing Olympics were a blue-yellow success, and among Sweden's eight golds there are some athletes whose success warms up a little extra for Jacob Hård.

- I think of Niklas Edin who can swim in World Cup gold and European Championship gold like another Joakim von Anka.

That he and his team now also get the very finest gold medal - it feels good, he says and continues:

- Just as Sara Hector, after a career with many difficulties to get over, now also had to stand at the top of the very finest podium.

"They usually have a hard time with it"

But it is neither Sara Hector's nor the curling masters' performance that impresses the most.

- It's Nils van der Poel with his fantastic races.

A guy who has gone his own way as well.

That the freeski skiers now also succeed at the Olympics is something new, they usually have a hard time with it.

If one ignores the Swedish joy, there were some who did not live up to the high expectations during the Beijing Olympics 2022.

- The disappointment is that there were no individual medals for the distance skiers in the Swedish cross-country national team.

Surprising, considering what the season looked like and how big the dividend was at the last World Cup, says Jacob Hård.
