The Swedish Championship final in 1912 was played on Råstasjön in Solna and had been postponed several times before it could be played on March 17.

Despite thin ice, the match started and it was 1-1 when the match was blown off for safety reasons.

Then the sea ice was so full of water that it was almost impossible to play.

The spring weather meant that it never became relevant to find a date to finish the match and the championship was shared between the two clubs, something that applies until today.

"Fun to honor the old who went before"

- It was a fun experience and fun to be able to honor those old who have gone before and done so well, to be able to do it for the club and the fans, says Djurgården's coach Cormac Åhlström-Horgan to SVT Sport while victorious players, fans and leaders are heard in the background.

- Now it is good speed and we celebrate as if it were a Swedish Championship gold and for many this is the closest they will get to a Swedish Championship gold.

The goal is to build the club as a real club, says Åhlström-Horgan about the future plans for the club that is housed in division one.

IFK Uppsala is in division three.

250 people, which was a little disappointing, had made it to the match with the historic wing beats.

The match was a manifestation for the bandy and the two associations and should be seen more as that than as an official championship.

However, it was built on the prestigious Elite Report's goal service as "SM final 1912".
