This Friday, Justine Braisaz-Bouchet won gold in the women's mass start.

Thanks to an incredible comeback, and despite four shooting errors, the 25-year-old skier beat all the favorites.

She becomes the first French Olympic biathlon champion since the coronation Florence Baverel-Robert in 2006, in Turin.

In Beijing, the French biathlon won seven medals, the best total in its history.

Norway (34 medals including 15 gold) took off a little further thanks in particular to Johannes Boe, crowned this Friday on the mass start.

The Norwegian won four gold medals in Beijing.

Germany (22 medals including 10 gold) and the United States (21 medals including 8 gold) complete the podium of the medal table.
