On Sunday, she makes the last Olympic race of her career.

Therese Johaug, 33, has a long and successful skiing career, but the highlight of her Olympic memories came in Beijing two weeks ago - when she took her first individual gold in skiathlon.

When asked what it will be like to run a final race in the Olympic context, Johaug answers:

- I try not to think so much about it, because then I get a little sad.

First I want to run the race and then we take it from there.

Recently, Sweden's ice skating king Nils van der Poel, who took gold in the 5,000 and 10,000 meters, published his training document on how he set up his training sessions.

In the document, van der Poel also talks about his philosophy around exercise and that it is important to have a fun-filled approach, which means being able to live a fully normal life where you can drink eight beers with your friends.

"How honest should I be?"

Therese Johaug has read the document.

- How honest should I be now then?

she answers with a laugh.

- No, but as I got older and older, I felt that it became important for me to have a slightly more normal life alongside the skis.

It is important for me to take advantage of my partner and family and friends, and being able to have a glass of red wine with the food means a lot to me and to the relaxation in my head.

- It's not like I sat and drank every day before the Olympics, but for me it is important to be able to relax.

No eight beers before the start of the Olympics in other words.

- No, everything is best in moderation so it will not be a glass of wine and eight beers.
