Table runner-up Rögle won 4-2 against the nearest chasing Luleå at home on Thursday night.

Skåningar set the tone early in the second period when Marco Kasper and Samuel Jonsson, who scored their first goal in over a year, scored two quick goals within 23 seconds when they outsmarted goalkeeper Jesper Wallstedt.

The visitors certainly reduced, but Rögle was stronger and could go from 4-1 early in the final period.

Luleå also had to watch Wallstedt break the match in the third period.

Ether having saved a puck, the super talent sat down and held on to his hip.

He was then led off with the help of players and doctors.

Joel Lassinantti took over and kept a clean sheet in the last 15 minutes, but Rögle took home all the points.

- I think it's a good match, pretty even.

We get two quick goals and can then play a little on it.

A good match, says Anton Bengtsson, who scored two goals in the match, to C More.

On Saturday, the teams meet again, this time in Norrbotten.
