The 15-year-old super-Russian Kamila Valieva, who made headlines during the championship through her positive doping test, led before the final free program.

She had 82.16 points with her from Tuesday's short program.

In the freestyle program, she went out last, after compatriot Anna Scherbakova who after her ride led the competition.

The 15-year-old performed his number to the tunes of Maurice Ravel's Bolero.

Just like in Tuesday's short program, she fell, then it was still enough to win.

It did not this time.

After the number, the Russian looked sad and tears flowed, but she received the audience's support.

Audience support

As she took care of the ice, tears continued to flow and the TV audience could see how sad she was when the result came.
