Magnus Pääjärvi is one of several strong new acquisitions that Malmö has made this season.

But in 16 matches, there have only been three points.

Now the team has only two points down to Timrå which is in qualifying.

- It's a lot up and down.

We have to believe in it.

Otherwise we will not be here.

It's hard to work uphill, but we'll get out of this together, he says.

What do you say about your own season?

-

I take my responsibility.

I know I need to deliver more.

I have not done that yet.

Do you start to feel the skin from below?

- We are very well aware of those under us.

They won today.

But we are looking upwards.

Otherwise it will be hard to play.

Just as Pääjärvi says, both Timrå and Djurgården won on Thursday.

The last two play a qualifying series against each other and the losing team is relegated to the hockey allsvenskan.

Pääjärvi most recently came from the KHL team Dynamo Moscow and has also done almost a decade in the NHL.
