Zamalek negotiates with Al-Ahly coach to succeed Carteron

Zamalek club president, Counselor Mortada Mansour, entered into negotiations with the coach of Al-Ahly and the former national team, Hossam Al-Badri, to take charge of the technical leadership of the first football team, to succeed French coach Patrice Carteron, who intends to dismiss him due to poor results.

Responsible sources in the Zamalek club said that Mortada Mansour made contacts in the past hours with Hossam Al-Badri to persuade him to accept the mission, and the latter asked for a deadline to think about the offer.

Mortada Mansour had offered three years ago to Hossam Al-Badri, who took over the training of Zamalek before contracting with Carteron, but he apologized in order to preserve the feelings of the Al-Ahly fans.

The relationship between Mortada Mansour and Carteron reached its lowest level after Zamalek's draw with Angolan Petro Atletico in the African Champions League, 2/2 and the loss from Smouha in the league with two goals without a response.
