It ended up being a Swedish Olympic gold in biathlon.

Sweden made a steady effort right from Linn Persson's first leg to Elvira Öberg's finish - and won by a margin of twelve seconds ahead of the Russian team.

- It's fun and well deserved.

They make a good and stable race right through, says SVT Sports expert Helena Ekholm.

Something that became decisive for the gold was that Hanna Öberg avoided a penalty round after blocking three shots in the standing shot.

But she managed to put the last extra shot and Sweden was still in the gold race.

- Hanna is experienced and gets through it even though she makes it a little extra exciting.

But she still struggles a bit with the shooter, says Ekholm.

What makes her successful?

- I think there is a lot of routine there.

She does not get very stressed and nervous.

If you do not have that routine, it could have been a round.

In the end, Elvira Öberg, who blocked a shot, was able to salvage the Olympic gold.

- She is confident in herself.

She trusts herself and knows her ability.

She has stood on the shooting range before and shot for medals.

It is impressive that she is not stressed but just goes in and does her thing, says Ekholm.
