Klopp: Mohamed Salah and Mane do not drink alcohol and are in the best condition

Coach Jurgen Klopp is preparing to lead his Liverpool team against Inter Milan, today, in the first leg of the 16th round of the Champions League.

And the German coach said, in a press conference, that Liverpool will play against a first-level team, and therefore they need to show the best possible level to have the opportunity to move forward in the tournament.

Regarding the condition of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane a week after their return from participating in the African Nations Championship, Klopp said: “They do not face any problems a week after their return, because they do not drink alcohol.”

"The biggest problem is when you over-celebrate and drink these drinks, so the recovery period is greater, which is a problem we don't have with them," he added.

"The fact that they did not drink alcohol made them in the best possible physical condition to participate immediately, and we hope that they continue in this way forever," he added.

He explained, "For Salah, it was only a few days off after the tournament, and Sadio got a week because of the celebrations, and there are no problems."

It is noteworthy that Salah and Mane participated with Egypt and Senegal in the African Nations Cup, which was crowned by the Teranga Lions, before the duo returned again to Liverpool.
