The French Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron won the gold medal on Monday at the Beijing Olympic Games in ice dancing. 

The French Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron, silver medalists at the 2018 Olympics, were crowned Olympic champions in ice dancing on Monday at the Beijing Games.

On the Chinese ice, they largely imposed themselves, with a total of 226.98 points, a new world record, ahead of the Russians Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov (220.51) and the Americans Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue (218.02).
